Overview
Join our team at Texas Water Utilities, a leading water utility dedicated to providing excellent service to our community. The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance on the distribution and collection system, install taps, and perform maintenance on plant equipment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Responsible for water line and sewer repairs, new line installation, taps, flushing valve maintenance, and plant equipment maintenance.
• Maintains work truck and tools.
• Inspects and maintains pumps, motors, valves and blowers in working order, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
• Pulls motors and pumps for repair, to include wiring and fabrication of parts as necessary.
• Replaces valves.
• Repairs fire hydrants.
• Assist plant operations as required.
What You'll Bring
Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience : This is an entry level position and does not require prior industry experience. Experience with heavy duty equipment(backhoe, excavator) preferred.
License Level: Valid Texas Driver's License, and preferred TCEQ D water license
Computer Skills: Basic Skills
