Position Summary:

To maintain, repair, or replace pumps, motors, electrical,l and SCADA equipment in place at water and wastewater facilities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, SCADA, and controls in working order, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
  • Rewire controls and replace electrical components.
  • Program, install and troubleshoot remote monitoring systems.
  • Troubleshoot and restore power to facilities.
  • Make electrical repairs at company office facilities.
  • Assist operations and maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Repair and replace electrical components.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical and mechanical systems. 
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years or more experience with electrical troubleshooting
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Electrician Certification and/or License.
  • A current and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles, climb stairs, and lift.
  • Ability to work overtime and on-call.

Work Experience

3+ years working in industrial, manufacturing, or utility environment and maintaining mechanical/electrical equipment to reliably and efficiently produce a physical product (liquid products preferred).
