Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Assist in all areas of operations, maintenance, and customer service as needed for all facility systems within the company.
- Perform routine checks of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
- Monitor and train staff in all aspects of system functions and safety.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
- Take on temporary responsibilities Field Office Supervisor, during the supervisors’ absence.
- May participate in the interviewing of prospective employees.
- Other duties as required by Field Office Supervisor.
What You'll Bring
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Requires two years of experience directly related to water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, customer service, and experience operating back-hoe and/or track-hoe equipment
TCEQ License: A class C Water and C Wastewater Certification issued by the TCEQ. The applicant must obtain a class C Water and Wastewater Certification issued by the TCEQ within 1 year of accepting the position and a CSI by the TCEQ within 2 years of accepting the position.
Computer Skills: Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Mobile Data Terminals (MDT) such as SAP for work order management and scheduling, time card management, inventory management, and procurement activities is desirable. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows Explorer is required; Experience using GIS map viewer software is desirable. Experience using field data collection devices such as GPS, valve operating data, etc. is desirable.
Other Requirements
Driver’s License: A Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record as determined by the Company’s insurance carrier is desirable.
