Summary

Our Texas Water Utilities division is searching for an Area Manager in the Point Blank area – someone ready to be part of the company’s fastest-growing business unit, Texas Water Utilities. In this position, you’ll manage a team of dedicated water/wastewater operators who are committed to excellence. The role requires someone who knows the value of teamwork and appreciates the fact that our state's economy from oil and gas to agriculture and manufacturing, along with life in EVERY Texas town and city, depends on clean and reliable sources of water. Our operators are the heroes that make this happen!

 

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in water and wastewater operations, a dedication to delivering safe water to our customers, and a solution-oriented mindset. Additionally, you must be TCEQ licensed.  Must pass a background check and have a good driving record.

Purpose of the Job

Performs management functions for field operations to ensure efficient and effective use of equipment, materials, and staffing. Coordinates communications between directors, engineers, customers, and supervisors. Administers specific personnel actions, including hiring, terminations, performance reviews, merit increases, and employee warnings.

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment/operations, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
