Purpose of the Job

Supports the day-to-day administration of human resources functions and duties and carries out responsibilities in the areas of: recruitment/employment, onboarding, leave administration, training, benefits and compliance.

This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned:

•    Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with business goals and objectives.
•    Manage talent acquisition efforts, by utilizing innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
•    Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations as needed.
•    Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
•    Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors and staff such as coaching, counseling, and mentoring.
•    Ensure HR practices are consistent with business objectives, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Serve as the subject matter expert for FMLA, overseeing all leave cases, including maternity, paternity, medical, and personal leaves. Ensure compliance with FMLA and state leave laws.
•    Answer general questions regarding benefits, compensation, payroll, policies and procedures.
•    Advise management team through employee related issues, conflict resolution and related change management.
•    Reviews and revises local job descriptions to accurately reflect skills, education and training, job skills, and other qualifications.
•    Identify training needs, develops and delivers a variety of training courses/classes designed to meet identified training requirements and individual coaching needs.
•    Assists on various projects and completes other duties as requested.
 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 

Certifications

SHRM-SCP or PHR is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of Human Resource multiple functions and/or generalist role.
