Our Nexus Water Group team is looking for a SAP Lead Analyst / Project Coordinator.The SAP Lead Analyst / Project Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing the design, implementation, and support of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role combines hands-on technical expertise in SAP modules with strong project coordination skills to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication effectively. The position requires facilitating the analysis of business processes, configuring SAP systems, and delivering high-quality projects on schedule.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is primarily based in Sugar Land, TX (Houston metropolitan area).
What You'll Do
SAP Leadership & Analysis
- Lead the analysis, design, and configuration of SAP modules (such as Industry Solution Utilities (ISU) - FICA, FI/CO, Billing, Device Management, Service Cloud, Service Asset Manager, Procurement, or others as required).
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with external experts to provide guidance on SAP best practices, integration points, and optimization opportunities.
- Perform system testing, data validation, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and accuracy.
Project Coordination
- Plan, organize, and manage SAP-related projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Support & Maintenance
- Collaborate with SAP team members to oversee the maintenance and support of SAP systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex SAP issues, providing resolutions promptly.
- Train and mentor junior analysts and business users in SAP functionalities and processes.
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP requirements definition, design, configuration and testing.
- 2+ years in a project coordination or leadership role.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- SAP certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP modules (ISU, Service Cloud, Service Asset Manager, or others depending on the company’s landscape).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
