We're looking for an SAP Billing and Device Management Analyst to join our IT team. This role will report to the Director of Information Technology. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of the SAP landscape that supports our business. This roadmap includes expanding new functionality and architecture including SAP RISE and S/4 platforms.  You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a functional and resilient SAP ecosystem.

What You'll Do

Key Accountabilities 

  • Work with internal customers to understand requirements and expectations that could be potentially automated.   
  • Research, design, develop, configure and test SAP software applications per specifications in SAP ECC, CRM, ISU, and other modules in our SAP landscape.  
  • Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.   
  • Perform a dual role as an SAP Business and Functional Analyst supporting all lines of business with SAP IS-U functional and business-related issues or questions.  
  • Work with fellow SAP resources to design and architect our business and technical processes to support our SAP landscape.   

 

This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned: 

  • Design, configure, test, deliver and maintain SAP Industry Specific Solutions for Utilities (ISU) Customer Relationship & Billing (CR&B), and other IS-U modules    
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of utility processes and the ability to support SAP Utilities ECC modules, IS-U and related SAP applications. 
  • Interact with internal customers across all lines of business to analyze business processes, define business requirements and make recommendations by considering costs, time and resources. 
  • Consult with programmers to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, and / or resolve internal customer problems. 
  • Develop documentation for appropriate SAP applications.  
  • Collaborate with IT and Project Managers on solutions. 
  • Consult with internal customers or other business units on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.  
  • Develop and/or direct software system testing or validation procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3-7 years relevant experience in application development and support, primarily focused on SAP Utilities modules. 
  • Experience working with customer service / FICA / Financial Accounting / Service and Field Operations a plus. 
  • Experience coding and de-bugging. 
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP IS-U functional modules (Customer Relationship and Billing) preferred but not required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred but not required).  

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High level of technical aptitude with the ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information. 
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with ERP systems, in particular SAP. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge management/collaboration tools including SharePoint.  
  • Strong business analytical approach with ability to avoid material mistakes. 
  • Ability to maintain confidential information. 
  • Excellent time management skills, including ability to multitask, prioritize and great attention to detail 
  • Duties require broad conceptual judgment, initiative, ability to deal with complex and abstract issues and identify and implement solutions to problems. 
  • Team-oriented interpersonal skills including collaboration, communication, and coaching, with the ability to effectively build relationships with customers and coworkers.

  • May involve extended periods of sitting.
